Birds are our business
In New Zealand we are one of only three Department of Conservation
concessionaires with authority to take clients onto the
DOC estate throughout New Zealand, specifically to observe
birds. This means that our activities are monitored and
we pay a royalty to the Department for each visitor, which
in turn goes towards further protecting our environment.
The Department of Conservation administers over a third
of New Zealand’s land area.
In
the South Pacific we are the only birding company offering
tours taking account of the current situation. From our
New Zealand base, we can monitor the region with the help
of our network of contacts and official agencies. As a South
Pacific-based company we have a strong commitment to our
region and its environment.
